Helicopters can land and take off at any given time of the day or night with very little warning. It is important that nothing whatsoever is left inside the showring unattended as it may hinder the landing and takeoff of the emergency aircraft and delay medical attention to critically ill or injured patients. It is also highly recommended that you bring in any loose equipment and wind in your awnings/secure tarps as they can be damaged by the high winds caused by the landing and takeoff of the aircraft. The Gin Gin Showgrounds takes no responsibility and will not be held liable for any damages caused by the takeoff or landing of the emergency aircraft. If at any time during your stay an emergency evacuation takes place you must immediately follow all directions given to you by the caretaker or emergency personnel.
